We took a walk out to Stamp Falls with my aunts on Sunday. It sure looks different out there when fall comes. There were tons of salmon trying to fight their way up the falls. Good opportunity for pictures though.

What happened to our fence?

We had some company one night. He felt that our lawn was too full of apples that weren't being put to good use, so he helped himself. I think he chose to make pie with it.

This is just a little entry on Ally. While William was napping this afternoon Ally and I were busy doing a bunch of activities...cutting and pasting, coloring pictures, sorting laundry and then we ended up on the computer. I told her about the family blog and she picked out some pictures to show you . Here is a picture of her and her friend April Dejong. The other picture is a drawing that she made for a sitter - Melody. Now its time to wake up William.

Spent a day surfing in Tofino...soo awesome! Our instructor was from Australia and we both managed to get up on our boards...didn't stay up long mind you, but it was so much fun. Definately recommend everyone give this a try. Toasty warm in those wet suits.

Vinophiles With Smiles

Hi gang, Treena and I spent this gorgeous day helping harvest the Pinot Gris at Blue Grouse vineyards which is just down the road from our house. It was an absolutely great day for picking. What was even more perfect was that we were paid in wine. Cheers!

Testing our limits. A success story.

Colin and I went on a great hike up Arrowsmith, the weather was beautiful. Unfortunately
we did not take a marked trail down and we were seriously lost, we knew we would eventually find the logging road , it just seemed to take forever. It took 50 minutes to get up there and 2 hrs to get down. Then we had to jog 2km to get back to our van so we would be back in time to get the kids from school and me to work. Fun hey.

star-struck while filming takes place across the street
from her home in Langford.
They are filming a TV movie there now..
Dean Caine is one of the actors in it, probably best
known for his earlier Superman role, plus Vegas & Ripley's..

Hi Everyone, We haven't posted for a long time so here we go. We are all doing very well, Anna is in 2nd year of preschool at Wind and Tide, this month they are learning about artist Georgia O'Keefe. Thomas is well, we have a great daycare girl come to our house twice a week, he likes her a lot. Sorry we missed you all for Thanks giving, hope to see you all soon, keep blogging.

Here is Ezra's first tooth to come out.
We had big plans of removing it by tying it to our
cat Dasher or to a door which is then slammed shut -
but in the end he just sucked it out
after school one day at my office. He likes it that
he can fit a straw perfectly in the new space.

We decide to stain the stairs a walnut color. The backside of the house was in serious need of some TLC so with the nice weather we have been scraping and painting. The rest of the outside will have to wait till the spring. I just got hired at Fir Park Village and Echo (everyone thought I was Corrie ) so the projects will slow down for a while.
