What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

The Family Circus by Bil Keane

"Remember Daddy, you don't hafta pay for Jeffy or P.J.

Children 3 and under get in free."

Bil Keane, creator of The Family Circus died this past week at the age of 89.

The Family Circus has been running since 1960. I have always enjoyed reading

this cartoon script since having children of my own - I think all parents can relate!

Kind of reminds me of Ed and Corrie's family - one daughter and three sons :)

Sunday Dinner

Anyone want to get together to share a meal this Sunday?

Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can sit by the fire or go for a walk.
We are thinking about eating by around 4 but feel free to come whenever.

Give us a call and we can talk about who wants to bring what.
We'll be sharing apple cider, pork roast with apples,
apple sauce and an apple crumble.
(Yes, we had a bumper crop of apples this year.)

We hope some of you can make it!
