Took a photo of our Brugmansia by the shop yesterday..

It reminds me of another beautiful lady who celebrates
24 years of marriage this week..
And like the plant, she is beautiful, but can cause hallucinations
coupled with an overwhelming urge to jump off buildings if ingested
in large quantities..

So yesterday and tomorrow are the due dates that were given to us for our baby's arrival. I am now thinking that the birthday will happen convieniently on the first day of school for Ally :) ..Sept 5th.

After 5 years, I finally decided to part ways
with my beloved mustang..
Interestingly, the car was
purchased by the son of the original owner,
who came across it by accident..
Sad to see her go, but..

Lucy has arrived!

Thanks to all of you for your calls, thoughts and prayers! Lucy was born at 7:43pm on August 13th weighing 8lbs. She is doing really well and her brother and sister are really enjoying her. Here are some photos . . . .

Just thought you might be wondering what was going on in Fort Langley . . . . NOTHING!! We are still waiting for the big arrival - we'll call you all when we have news . . . hopefully soon:)

Winnipeg Wonders

We're back. We had a great trip to Winnipeg to visit with Treena's family. It had been quite a few years since we were all there so it was good to be together again. The flights went well although the boys were a little ticked that on the return flight the brand new Boeing 767 was not yet equipped with TVs.

The last time the whole Visser clan was together was back in 2003. We took this picture out on the prairies with the boys...

And here they are in 2007...

We went camping about an hour outside of Winnipeg at a place called Otter Falls. It was so hot (35 degrees) that even the mosquitoes were too tired to bite, although Ezra got attacked pretty severely as he hunted frogs around the campsite.

We had an early pirate themed birthday party for Samuel while we were out there. It's hard to believe this little pirate is going to be 5 next Wednesday.

Anyways, hope you are all well and having a great summer. Looking forward to seeing y'all at Bowser!
