What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.

Kinder Morgan Right of Way

Kinder Morgan advised us of "foliage encroachment" and had the right to come on our yard/ Apparently it will look better than than before/when they are done.

Snow at the Homestead - Feb. 28, 2011

Jake enjoys feeding his little birds during the winter months ...

just like his Papa use to do :)

Last year, Jake made this wooden deer as a garden decoration.
This deer isn't as destructive as the live deer!

And ... "the bench". Jake made this a few years ago. It is a popular place to take pictures. Maybe we can get some Easter pictures here with the Colyn/Banks/Howard families this year ...
... (since we don't have fields of Daffodils like at Al's and Trudy's!)
