After checking out the Qualicum beach father's day car show,
David, myself and Will took a cruise out in the nearby backwoods
and stumbled across a wealth of old vehicles just sitting..

Anna had her grauation from preschool today. At first I thought preschool grad was overkill . . . but I found myself in the front row bawling my eyes out today!! Hope you are all doing well:)

Nesting

The bird eggs have hatched!!! But not mine yet :)

Caught some!!

Today we went to an open house at the "Fish and Game" club. We caught 4 rainbow trout. We had so much fun. The kids were each given a geared up rod to take home with them. I think we'll be doing this more often!!

Ally caught the first one within the first 10 minutes of arriving.

Our Grad night

Drew bought Ella a really pretty wrist corsage. We weren't able to pin his on. Some of us are not that 'flower smart'. Didn't have any of the real flower people here for that job.

Ella really appreciated Simone making the trip up on that long and boring bus ride. Thanks for coming and sharing her day, Simone. I know it was a busy and crazy weekend, but she really did appreciate your being there. Hope you had a fun time and safe trip home.

Ella and Drew looked so nice both of them. Here they are under the famous Maple tree, although you can't see much of the tree. And they were getting wet from the raindrops falling of the leaves.

Drew was so proud of his car. Thought I should take a shot of them by it since he buffed it all up for the occasion.

A good time was had by all grads (I think). From where I was working my shift, I couldn't stop watching them having so much fun together. What a fun evening for them. Something they will remember forever. Oh, to be young again.

Mom....we miss you ! We are holding you in prayer....hoping that today is better than yesterday!! Can't wait to see you well again!!

Ed found this little nest and eggs in our front Viburnum. I was surprised to see it so low in the tree...about waist height. I think it is a Sparrow's nest? The mamma is brown with white spots and has a bit of orange on her head.

Status on Mom

Hi everyone, heres an update on mom. She is still in the hospital and will be for a few more days. The Dr. is trying to get her medications to a point where she is comfortable, but she is having strong reactions to many of these drugs so they are eliminating some and changing others. This will be a long haul for her, weeks of recovery probably months. Dad is doing fine, we are all spending time with him, and he can't believe how well fed he is. Pray for Mom to put herself first, she is precious and her curling club needs her. Thanks for everyones help, I know how hard it is to be far away, and know you would want to be here to. Keep you posted.

All those who took family pictures at the golf course, could you please post them, so we can see which picture is the best and get it blown up. The one from Sonja Drinkwater for the paper, cuts of the two outside people a little, so maybe we could find better pictures from our cameras. Darren, Corrie, Michell (not sure whose camera she was using), Michelle Gallic (?), and anyone else who was taking pictures. Thanks everyone. It was a great time and good to see everyone together.
