What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.

Status on Mom

Hi everyone, heres an update on mom. She is still in the hospital and will be for a few more days. The Dr. is trying to get her medications to a point where she is comfortable, but she is having strong reactions to many of these drugs so they are eliminating some and changing others. This will be a long haul for her, weeks of recovery probably months. Dad is doing fine, we are all spending time with him, and he can't believe how well fed he is. Pray for Mom to put herself first, she is precious and her curling club needs her. Thanks for everyones help, I know how hard it is to be far away, and know you would want to be here to. Keep you posted.

    Thanks to all you PA family for taking care of mom and dad so well. I hope to come on Wednesday for a few days.
