What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

Stubborn Dutch Guy

The postings have been a little slim of late. (Other than Al's phallic flower pictures.) So I thought I'd share this song with you. Enjoy with an oliebol or some koek.

Here is the site where you can listen to "Stubborn Dutch Guy".

And here are the lyrics so you can follow along.

Have a great week everyone!

tot ziens!

My Entry into Peoples Choice '08

I wanted something very simple. So like the fruit, this arrangement comes in its own wrapper.

Check out the Vancouver Sun WestCoast Section.

Our Ronaldo

Anna's first game was today.
She plays on Simon's (mostly boy) team.
No goals but lots of hustle - gave the boys a run for their money:)

Angel with a broken wing

"... no crying he made"
.... just take a sharp left turn that way.
Resetting.... completely drugged out........the sound is actually frightening
soccer anyone????

Simon fell off a quad today broke his arm 8 cm below his elbow. Both bones were completely snapped. Great Doctor, very experienced nurse. All is well that ends well, i guess. I was not asked if he was allowed to ride it...........just what his Care card # was..

This is one tuff customer.... in the hospital the Dr asked if he thinks he broke it ? He said no and that he just needed a bag of ice the make it go straight again.

Thank the Lord!!
