What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

Baptism for Evan

A quick note to let you know that Evan will be baptized on Nov.11 in Port Alberni.
We are thankful for the support and sense of community that we still feel from the Port Alberni church. It is exciting for us as Darren will be the one to do the baptism.

We thank God for the gift of children and thank him for welcoming us (and Evan) daily into new life with him.

Mom has offered to host lunch and coffee after church that Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing you all again!!

The kids carved their pumpkins tonight. We have scary in the middle, and cute on the outside.

This picture is a little less blurry, but Willem is not as goofy.

Looking forwards to seeing some other pumpkin pictures on the blog. Have a great Halloween kids and can't wait to see what everyone dresses up as.

Fall Pictures from Larmarque Road

First there were two.

Then there were three more

Now there are five.

Just a few pictures of the colours in our backyard. Now most of the leaves are on the ground but at least we captured the moment in spite of the girls not wanting to.

How about a picture of each family on the blog before Christmas. Looking forwards to seeing them all.

Sara and Carina get a haircut

After

They raised about $600.00 between the two of them. Now they look like grown up little ladies with their new haircuts. Way to go girls.

Keeping the faith..

Slowly, my 56 merc project is coming along..
I thought I'd post a picture of the completed
frame. It has a mustang independent front suspension
and rear 4-link setup, including an aluminum fuel tank.
Next up is the brake plumbing and bodywork..
I will post more photos as work progresses.
