What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

Thanksgiving Sunday Dinner at Jake's

Jake is inviting all the Colyn's for Thanksgiving Dinner here at the old homestead on Strick Road on Sunday October 8. We will be eating about 3:00 p.m. Hope everyone can make it. We haven't heard of any other plans. Please let us know if you can make it and what you are willing to bring towards the dinner. We hope to invite Sid and Brenda and Anna as well. Let us know as soon as possible.

    We will have to check with my sister and brother when dinner will be for them, but I will suggest to maybe do it on Monday. So if we can we will be there and I will let you know what we will be bringing as soon as I know. Thanks for the invite. Will you have your new TV by then?

    Unfortunately we Victoria Colyns will not be coming to P/A this thxgvg. Simone will be in Quebec, and we will be hosting some more dutchies... they just keep on coming over here. Sorry 'bout that. Hope you all have a great family time.
