What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.

lets celebrate little successes

Hi y'all. How is everyone settling in with the new school year? Our kids seem very happy with teachers and meeting new friends. Joel is enjoying being at the big middle school. I popped in to see him one lunch hour and he gave me a big hug right in the middle of the hall way, a parent supervisor walked by and said "you sure are lucky to get one of those (hug) at his age" I guess they don't happen as much as they get bigger.

We have completed some rooms and our floors are finally finished upstairs. We went from hating these floors to wanting to sleep on them now, they look great. We would like to have coffee and lunch at our house after church on sunday, this is not an offical new house party, we will have a great one when more of the house is complete.
