What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

Old Lang Syne/Dick Clark's Night/New Year's Eve ...

... the Colyn Family New Year's Shindig this year will be held at Jake's and Mitzie's. Saturday evening December 31. Not many details at this point. If anyone has any ideas please let us know. Since we are at the family homestead, Jake is excited to put the midnight BOMBS into the evening's menu! I have the master list for the children's gift exchanges ... if anyone has forgotten who you are to buy for. $25.00 per gift children and adult. I am looking into where us ladies can go for Brunch New Year's morning.
How old do the teenage girls have to be before they can join the ladies at the Brunch? Are the guys going on their annual oyster hunt? If so, when? If anyone would like to stay at our home overnight, you are welcome to. We have lots of room. We will keep you posted as to further developments.
For now ...
Mitzie.

  1. Could we maybe do a lunch instead? New years day is a sunday and some of us may have to go to church because of commitments.

  2. Yeah, lunch sounds good. And I know I am probably a pooper, but I don't think it is time for the teenagers yet. What does everyone else think.
