What's going on?

Hi Everyone! I thought we'd finally update the Colyn family blog as it has not been changed since 2006. Times are a changing.
We will try some new things to keep everyone interested and to maintain some sense of order around here. There is some social media integration for posts to be shared through Facebook, Twitter, etc. A Search function, so make sure you add labels to your posts for future reference.
Please be patient the next little while if things move around a bit, and be sure to let me know if you like or dislike whats going on.
Oh, and keep up the good posts, everyone! If you need any help logging in or posting, just contact me anytime... ~John

ski with me


We are tentatively planning a between Christmas and New Years family ski trip. You'd be welcome to stay a night or two and we could ski, eat, play games, hang out, drink, eat....sorry no karaoke this time.....although I am sure we could scrounge up some candy cane shooters if you like. If there are enough people perhaps we could rent a hot tub.....if not we'll do with squeezing the few of us into the bathtub. If anyone is interested, send me the day(s) that would work for your family and we'll try to pull it together.

    Is this for the whole family or adults only? We are going to be in Parksville for our anniversary on the 28th, but otherwise we are free for any other day. I know that is right in the middle of the week but if we can make it we will. Sounds fun. Especially the candy cane shooters.

    That sounds great. Aaron would like to go but he doesn't fing out his work schedule until the week before. Let us know asap so he can arrange for the time off.
